
Anxiety attacks are episodes of intense panic or fear. Anxiety attacks usually occur suddenly, without warning and are traumatic. During these times the terror can be so severe that you may feel as if you are about to die or totally lose control. The physical symptoms are themselves so frightening; many people believe they are having a heart attack.
